Tour Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 To confirm your booking for the Venice in 3 Days & A Little of Italy tour, a deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking.

1.2 The remaining balance is due 30 days before departure. If the full payment is not received by the specified date, the booking may be canceled, and the deposit will be forfeited.

1.3 Payments can be made via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or any other payment method specified on the booking page.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellation by You (Traveler):

• If you cancel the tour more than 30 days before departure, you will receive a full refund, minus the deposit.

• If you cancel the tour within 30 days of departure, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

• If you cancel the tour within 7 days of departure, the full tour price will be non-refundable.

2.2 Cancellation by Us (Tour Operator):

• We reserve the right to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as force majeure, natural disasters, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule the tour.

3. Tour Inclusions and Exclusions

3.1 Included in the Tour Price:

• Round-trip flights

• Accommodation in 3 or 4-star hotels (based on your booking)

• Half-board meals (breakfast and dinner)

• Guided city tours of Venice and Florence

• Gondola ride through Venice's canals

• Travel insurance (subject to the terms of the insurer)

• All local transport (including airport transfers and transport to Florence)

3.2 Not Included in the Tour Price:

• Optional extra tours, activities, or meals

• Personal expenses (shopping, snacks, etc.)

• Alcoholic beverages

• Optional baggage fees (if applicable)

• Hotel upgrades or changes in accommodation

4. Private Tour Option

4.1 Group vs. Private Tours:

• Our Venice in 3 Days & A Little of Italy tour is typically a group experience, but for those who prefer privacy or flexibility, we offer a Private Tour Option.

• The Private Tour is designed for individuals, couples, families, or small groups who want to enjoy the same itinerary with exclusive services.

• The Private Tour allows customization based on your needs, including flexible travel dates, accommodation preferences, and the pace of the trip.

4.2 Pricing for Private Tours:

• Private Tour Pricing is available upon request and may vary depending on the number of participants, preferred accommodations, transport options, and other customizations.

• Private Tour Minimums: A minimum of 2 participants is required for a Private Tour to proceed. The pricing for a Private Tour will be higher than the standard group tour rate due to the exclusive nature of the service.

4.3 Customization of Private Tours:

• The tour’s itinerary can be tailored to your interests (e.g., more time in Venice, additional excursions, special accommodations).

• Luxury upgrades (e.g., private yacht rides, personalized dining experiences) are available at additional costs.

4.4 Private Tour Booking:

• To book a Private Tour, we require a minimum deposit of 30% of the total tour cost at the time of booking, with the balance due 60 days before departure.

• Custom itineraries may take additional time to arrange, so please provide at least 3 weeks' notice if requesting a Private Tour.

4.5 Private Tour Cancellations:

• Cancellation by You (Traveler):

  • Cancellations made more than 45 days before departure: Full refund minus the deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 45 days: 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of departure: No refund.

• Cancellation by Us (Tour Operator):

  • If we are unable to fulfill a private tour for any reason, we will offer either a full refund or alternative dates for your private tour.

5. Travel Insurance

5.1 Travel insurance is included in the tour price but is subject to the terms of the insurer. We recommend you check the details of the coverage provided and consider purchasing additional coverage if necessary.

5.2 It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure they are adequately covered for all potential risks associated with their travel.

6. Responsibility and Liability

6.1 We act only as agents for the suppliers and services involved in the tour, including airlines, hotels, and transport providers. We are not liable for any acts of negligence, delays, or changes made by these service providers.

6.2 We will not be responsible for personal injury, loss, damage, or any other costs incurred during the tour, except where directly attributable to our negligence.

6.3 Participants must adhere to all local laws and regulations during the trip. We reserve the right to remove any participant from the tour if their behavior disrupts the experience of other travelers or violates any regulations.

7. Health and Safety

7.1 By booking this tour, you confirm that you are in good health and able to participate in the activities included in the itinerary.

7.2 It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements at the time of booking.

7.3 We recommend travelers check with their doctor to ensure they are fit for travel and have all necessary vaccinations before departure.

8. Travel Documents

8.1 All travelers must have a valid passport and any necessary visas for travel to Italy. We are not responsible for any issues arising from travelers not meeting the entry requirements.

8.2 Travelers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining the appropriate travel documents.

9. Changes to the Itinerary

9.1 We strive to provide the itinerary as outlined, but due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, transport issues, etc.), some activities may be substituted, postponed, or canceled. We will notify you as soon as possible in the event of any changes.

9.2 Any changes made to the itinerary will be for the convenience and safety of the group and will not entitle the participant to a refund.

10. Group Size and Minimum Booking

10.1 The Venice in 3 Days & A Little of Italy tour requires a minimum number of participants to proceed. If the minimum number is not met, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the tour.

10.2 If the tour is canceled due to insufficient numbers, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule for a different date.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

11.1 We respect your privacy and will protect your personal information. Your details will only be used to process your booking and provide you with necessary updates regarding the tour.

11.2 By booking this tour, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes outlined above.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Any disputes arising from the booking or the tour will be governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya will have exclusive jurisdiction.

12.2 In the event of a dispute, we will attempt to resolve the matter through mediation. If mediation fails, the matter will be resolved in the courts.

Solo Travelers

1. Solo Traveler Option

1.1 We understand that some travelers prefer to experience the Venice in 3 Days & A Little of Italy Tour on their own. For these solo travelers, we offer the Solo Traveler Option, which allows you to join the group tour as an individual while still enjoying the planned activities and inclusions.

1.2 The Solo Traveler Option ensures that you will be paired with other group members during shared activities (e.g., guided tours, meals) but will have your own private room during the hotel stay.

2. Solo Traveler Pricing

2.1 For solo travelers, the price of the tour will be higher than the standard group price, as the cost of accommodation will be based on a single occupancy room.

2.2 The Solo Traveler price will be determined based on availability and the type of accommodation chosen. Please contact us for a quote based on your travel preferences.

3. Customizing Your Solo Tour

3.1 If you prefer a more tailored experience, the Solo Traveler Option also allows you to customize your itinerary (e.g., additional excursions, more time at specific sites, luxury upgrades) for an additional cost.

3.2 You may also choose to upgrade to premium accommodations or private transfers for a more exclusive and comfortable experience during your solo journey.

4. Booking for Solo Travelers

4.1 To book the Solo Traveler Option, we recommend booking at least 45 days in advance to ensure availability of accommodations that cater specifically to solo travelers.

4.2 A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days before departure.

5. Solo Traveler Cancellations

5.1 Cancellation by You (Solo Traveler):

• Cancellations made more than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus the deposit.

• Cancellations made within 30 days of departure: 50% refund.

• Cancellations made within 7 days of departure: No refund.

5.2 Cancellation by Us (Tour Operator):

• If we are unable to fulfill a solo traveler's booking, we will offer either a full refund or alternative dates for your solo tour.
